40% food wasted.

We make tech that listens to produce to reduce waste and improve freshness.

We take for granted that many grocery stores have dozens of fresh produce options available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

But where does it come from?

The Farmer

Much of the fruits and veggies we eat are grown by family-run operations in the US. Farmers do an incredible job maximizing the use of their natural resources to ensure the land can continue to provide 50-100 years down the road.

The Distributor

Once produce has been grown, it must be sent all across the world before it goes bad. Distributors are experts in moving produce, from importing fruits on containers to hauling it cross-country on trucks.

The Retailer

Retailers are at the end of the big game of hot potato that we play with produce, and are responsible for making sure customers get the freshest possible experience. Retailers move hundreds or even thousands of different types of produce through their warehouses every day to bring food to our tables.

40%
Of all food in America is wasted

Food waste stats are staggering, and they effect both the earth, and retailers bottom line.

Why is there so much waste?

Every individual in the food supply chain does their best to reduce waste. However, there is currently no guardian angel watching over fruits and veggies as they pass from hand to hand. There is also very little information on quality.

That’s where we come in

We listen to fruits and veggies as they ripen to help everyone in the journey make the best decision for produce.

Whether it’s helping a supplier store their apples, an exporter ship and slot kiwis, or a retailer bring the freshest and perfectly ripe bananas, we are there every step of the way.
